Born in 1989 in Istanbul and moved to Germany in 1993, he began his career shortly after school in 2007 with short films and animations.
From 2008 to 2011 he studied directing in Stuttgart and left his studies one month before graduation. At that time he also learned method acting, dramatic writing and some parts of production.
Because of his natural understanding of visual effects, he got a job as an intern at Pixomondo Stuttgart at the end of 2011. After a year and a half of working on shows like Game of Thrones and Rush, he decided to leave VFX and return to acting and directing. Short after, he created his shortfilm I WALK ALONE, which later was nominated for an award and become very popular at youtube with 155k views and more than 90% likes.
After a short time as a director at GameOne, he moved to Potsdam to work for the animated youtube webseries Tubeclash as a story editor and animation artist, which won later many awards. In 2015 he launched several projects, such as RetroGarde, which won an award in 2016.
Since then Alican works professionally in many departments like Storyboarding, Story Editor and Crafter, VFX compositing Artist, Animation, 3D and Background Artist, Director, Actor and develops further new projects.
