Born to Dubai-based artist Ramakrishnan and dance teacher Usha Menon in Kochi, Kerala, Lakshmi's early life was rooted in the rich cultural backdrop of her surroundings. After completing her school education in Kochi, she pursued higher studies and earned a bachelor's degree from Scared Heart College under Mahatma Gandhi University.
