Biography

Mary Leonard is originally from Chicago, IL. She always knew that she would be in the entertainment field after going to the movies and seeing "The Sound of Music". Mary was a dancer, until an unfortunate accident which resulted in her dance career coming to an abrupt end. She has always enjoyed bringing smiles to people's faces through her sense of humor. She has the ability to transform a character's feelings and dramatic situations & make it real. Mary can play that astounding role & make you feel as though your heart is going to be ripped from your chest because you can feel her characters pain, just as well as her having that "dry comedic sense of humor". She feels very fortunate that her career has flourished. She is able to do dialects, most of her own stunts, play a variety of sports and musical instruments. Mary is an all around actress who likes to improvise and is easy to work with. She likes to make the projects fun, believable and meaningful. Her motto is to Be Kind to Each Other, Live, Love, Laugh & Dance. She always is there to be a core team-member because she feels the way to succeed is to be there for the complete cast and crew of a production not just for herself. She does not believe in an EGO as she always states that EGO is Edging God Out of your life. She always tries to be a positive influence, as she always says, you never know what someone is facing in their life, therefore if she can bring a smile or an act of kindness she feels that she is walking the talk and somehow passing along hope when one might be feeling hopeless. She believes that EVERYONE is EQUAL and IMPORTANT and wants people to know they are ALL WORTHY. Her hope is to see mankind come together to unite in love, respect and equality for all.
