Maiya Kenick is an internationally recognized, award-winning producer, director, actress and musician. Always dedicated to whatever she is doing, Maiya has won numerous awards in film industry, music platform, and even martial arts. She has participated in US Nationals Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) Tournament and won 1st prizes in two disciplines: bare-hand forms and broadsword. Her teacher, the great martial artist, Pan Qing Fu, choreographer and actor of the original "Shaolin Temple" movie that catapulted Jet Li to fame, and other sifus were amazed at her fast progress and said that what she accomplished in 6 months normally would take 10 years to accomplish in Chinese Professional Wushu schools. His dream was to make a martial arts film starring Maiya as a lead.

Maiya's love for music has reflected in her composing music. Her first hip-hop song, "Lunar Mansions Full of Kisses," was immediately picked up by distribution company and released in an album. After this, she composed more music, including two "Mantra of Circle" cycles consisting of New Age songs. They received the highest awards in their category (New Age/Global Music Awards). Other songs have been licensed to companies that deal with French fashion house, Hermès, Cirque du Soleil, and other venues. Her songs can be heard on all streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon, etc.

Being creative from her infancy, Maiya began to learn piano diligently as an adult, and soon, in less than 2 years, was able to compete on a professional level. As a result of winning awards, she was invited several times to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall, New York, at the main auditorium which seats 2,800 people!

Maiya's passion for cinema led her to take college courses in Film & TV where she got straight "A"s in editing, movie and video production, aesthetics, on-camera acting, etc. Throughout her career, Maiya met and became friends with various movie executives, among them, director of IMAX theaters South-East Asia marketing, owners of movie chains, music composer for most of Clint Eastwood's films, and Dean of Creative Arts. Maiya decided to produce and direct her film, VOYEUR TO THE PARANORMAL, which she also edited. Shot on location in New Orleans, the film deals with the paranormal unique to the city and also delves into the paranormal activity that was activated by the filming of "American Horror Story, Season 3" that was shot there. Maiya Kenick has received extraordinary number of accolades for her production of Voyeur to the Paranormal. Laurels after laurels from many international festivals based in various cities, Los Angeles, Cannes, Tokyo, London, Bali, Madras, Kolkata, Nassau, etc. were awarded to the film, including "BEST PRODUCER," "BEST FILM," "BEST DIRECTOR," "BEST SOUND," and "BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY."
