Eddy Kara is a Montreal-born filmmaker, producer, and actor who discovered his passion for filmmaking at the age of 17. With his natural talent and dedication, he quickly rose to prominence in the independent film industry.
In 2015, Eddy's exceptional directorial skills were recognized when he won the prestigious Best Director Wreath Award for his work on "The Sociopath's Guild". His remarkable storytelling abilities were further acknowledged in 2019 when he received the Best Screenplay and Director awards for "No, Mr. Mayor: Part 2".
He began his studies at Vancouver Film School, specializing in Film Production and Screenwriting. He later earned a degree in Business Management from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, and went on to complete a Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Adler University.
Eddy is a true artist who is constantly pushing the boundaries of filmmaking, and his passion for the craft is evident in every frame of his work as he remains grounded and committed to creating and producing films that are both thought-provoking and entertaining.
