Javier Vazquez Jr. is an accomplished actor and author, best known for working alongside Clint Eastwood in two Warner Bros. feature films: The Mule (starring Bradley Cooper and Michael Peña) and Juror #2 (starring Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette). His television credits include roles in hit series such as Outer Banks, MacGyver, The Resident, Doom Patrol, and Ozark. He has also landed recurring roles in Tyler Perry's The Oval, Monarch, Saints & Sinners, and BMF.
Expanding his passion for storytelling beyond the screen, Vazquez recently released a children's book, JJ's Audition Adventure. The story follows a young boy, JJ, who dreams of becoming a television and film actor and is guided by his uncle Rolando. Through JJ's journey, young readers learn step by step how to start an acting career, perform a self-tape audition, and navigate the emotional highs and lows of the industry. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Vazquez discovered his love for acting while earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Buffalo State College. He grew up in a family dedicated to service. His father, a retired Buffalo firefighter, and his mother, an emergency room aide, instilled in him the discipline and perseverance that now define his career.
Vazquez's journey in TV and film began in 2012 when he booked his first audition and landed a role in the faith-based film Stand Your Ground. Since then, he has built a diverse and impressive body of work. Now based in the Atlanta area, he continues to inspire and uplift aspiring actors with the unwavering support of his wife and three children.
