Mike's journey began on April 10, 1968, in Dallas, Texas. However, he was primarily raised in the charming small town of Mabank by his loving grandparents. Growing up in a small-town environment came with its challenges, but Mike used his vivid imagination as a powerful tool for creativity. This imaginative flair led him to develop an impressive talent for impersonations, entertaining his classmates with spot-on portrayals of iconic figures such as Ronald Reagan, Howard Cosell, Jack Nicholson, and John Wayne.
As Mike transitioned into adulthood, his enthusiasm for acting flourished. He eagerly joined the local civic theater, and his dedication soon provided opportunities for him as an extra in various films and television shows. His relentless pursuit of his passion yielded fantastic results, including appearances in films such as "Devil's Deal," "Skookum," "Love Land," "Not Abel," and "Something in the Woods."
In addition to acting, Mike's creativity shines through in his work as a writer and producer. His short film "Tough Love: The Movie" highlights his talent, and his screenplay "My Dad, Arlo & Me" received recognition as the Best Screenplay at the Lake Charles Film Festival. Excitingly, he has several more scripts in development, including "One Night at the Surf," a poignant retelling of the last night in the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. "Big Bopper" Richardson, as seen through the eyes of 19-year-old Waylon Jennings; "Saving Grace," a romantic comedy; "Welcome to Eden," a sci-fi thriller; and "Night Shot," a murder mystery thriller. Mike's journey is a testament to his resilience and passion for the arts!
