LaShone Garth started her career in the military enlisting at the age
of 17 years old. After spending 4 years on Active Duty, she left the
service and entered the Georgia Army National Guard and went to Officer
Candidate School and was commissioned as a 2LT Military Police Officer.
LaShone spent 8 years in the Guard before transitioning over to the U.S. Army Reserves where she honorably served the remainder of her 20 plus years, which includes a tour of duty in the combat zone of Iraq, until her retirement.
As a citizen warrior, LaShone had the opportunity to not only gain valuable leadership and military experience, but she also was able to get over 18 years experience in the civilian sector working in corporate America as well as owning and operating her own business successfully for over 8 years. She was a professor teaching leadership for a short time a Clemson University. She was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women for her excellence and professionalism in business.
She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Georgia State University and a MA in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Candidate for her Doctorate in Coaching Psychology at Capella University.
LaShone is married to her husband Casey and resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she continues to pursue her dreams, through her radio show The "B" Word on BlogTalkRadio.com, of helping others to understand the value in creating your own destiny through entrepreneurship.
She is also the 2013 title holder, Mrs. Gwinnett County, Georgia where she will compete with other delegates throughout the state to become the reigning Mrs. Georgia. She conducts community outreach events and various promotions that support her communities and her interests. LaShone is also an accomplished model and actress having performed in numerous TV shows, plays as well as movies and continues to build her portfolio by becoming the Host of the new hit Internet TV Show, "Ball Street Chronicles" which airs on LioncubsTV.com
