David DeGrow Shotwell is a two-time Nicholl semifinalist whose debut feature, The Bounceback, premiered at SXSW as a NYTimes Critics' Pick before Tribeca Films distribution.
David holds a BA from Central Michigan and completed post-graduate work at UCLA before becoming a Screenwriting Fellow at AFI.
David previously worked in development at The Montecito Picture Company, WideAwake Inc., and Gray Fox Films where he discovered emerging talent as a Creative Executive and Director of Development. Recently, he produced the neo-noir, Lake George, starring Shea Whigham and Carrie Coon, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Magnolia Pictures.
At home, his wife and two dogbabies rule the roost.
