Mumbai, March 20 (Ians) ‘Naagin 4’ actress Nia Sharma shared her experience of working with Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and being part of the latest track ‘Daiyya Daiyya’, sung by Neha Kakkar from the web series ‘Hunter- Tootega Nahi Todega’.

Nia shared that she enjoyed working with Suniel and was impressed to look at his fitness.

She said: “The song is full of energy and is one of the most fun and challenging projects I have been a part of. Working with the legendary actor Suniel Shetty was definitely a pleasure, the aura that he has is simply impressive and I was awestruck by his fitness, and its total goals. I hope the audience loves the track and shows their love for it.”

Suniel, who plays Acp Vikram Sinha in the web series said: “Daiyya Daiyaa, as a song, plays a pivotal part in the show and I have enjoyed being a part of it.

‘Ishqbaaz’ actress Niti Taylor revealed that as a kid, she had a hole in her heart and she was not allowed to do many things including dance as it could have adverse effects on her health.

She said: “As a kid, I had a hole in my heart and there are many things that I was not allowed to do including dance because it could jeopardise my health. I couldn’t go to amusement parks or take flights or do anything remotely adventurous.”

The 27-year-old actress, who is currently seen on the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ slipped and fell down while performing on the song ‘Saat Samundar Paar’ from late actress Divya Bharti-starrer 1992 film ‘Vishwatma’. This was her debut film and the song was also picturised on her.

During the 90s special episode of the show, the actress performed on the track along with her choreographer partner Akash Thapa.

‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 10’ fame Amruta Khanvilkar and ‘Anupama’ actor Paras Kalnawat have been eliminated from the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’.

After Ada Malik, Amruta and Paras also left the show. Now, with the elimination of six contestants, the competition is left among Faisal Shaikh, Gashmeer Mahajani, Rubina Dilaik, Nia Sharma, Sriti Jha, Gunjan Sinha, Nishant Bhat and Niti Taylor.

Amruta, who was doing quite well on the show and impressed the judges with her dance skills, which comprises a fusion of folk and classical dance forms, was surprised and was quite upset with her elimination.

She said, “I feel extremely sad as my journey in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ ends unexpectedly. Dancing in front of Madhuri (Dixit) ma’am was the best experience of my life, and I will always treasure that memory.”

Popular television actor Arjun Bijlani will be seen hosting the weekend episode of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10’ as the show’s original host Maniesh Paul is sick.

According to source close to Ians, Maniesh has fallen ill, and is replaced by Arjun Bijlani on Jhalak for just this weekend. Maniesh in the last episode had a bad throat infection and he left. He left on Sunday’s episode last weekend.

‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ is judged by filmmaker Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi. Last week, Adah Khan was eliminated.

A Vasai Court on Saturday sent arrested television actor Pearl V. Puri to 14 days' judicial custody, officials said. Puri, who was nabbed late on Friday night on alleged charges of molesting and raping a five-year old girl two years ago, was produced before the Vasai Sessions Court Judge Aditi Kadam who granted Puri judicial custody for 14 days.

Puri is likely to move an application seeking bail, which will come up for hearing in the court on Monday.

The 31-year-old "Naagin 3" actor was booked by Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate, invoking charges of Ipc Sec. 376 Ab and Pocso Act, 4, 8, 12,19, 21 for the rape of the minor girl, said the officials.

According to the Valiv Police Station, which lodged the case, the victim's family had complained that Puri allegedly molested and raped the five-year-old girl around two years ago, when he had come here for a shooting.
