Chloe Taylor is sometimes credited as Stephanie Morgan, her given name. She is a screen actor, voice actor, and singer.
Born in Iowa, Chloe (Stephanie) resided in nine different houses/apartments/trailers in four states (including NM, CO, and TX) over the course of childhood. She graduated summa cum laude from Trinity University with a Bachelor's in Psychology, and moved to the mountains of Asheville, NC, where she found herself in songwriting and performing. After a 2-year stint as a wilderness counselor with troubled teens, she earned her Master of Social Work at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked in adoptions, all the while playing shows and creeping toward critical mass.
At the age of 31, she quit her day job and hit the road with her indie pop band, Stephaniesid. Through this band, her song "Hey Hey Hey" has garnered over a million streams on Spotify alone, having been placed in Showtime's Nurse Jackie and in Sony Playstation's Until Dawn. Years later, during a period of tour burnout, she took a break to go to acting school, fulfilling a childhood curiosity and catalyzing a new dimension in her process.
She made a few indie films (Lost Colony, Beulah Land) before finding strong footing in voiceover (Greenpeace, UNICEF USA), and has since branched into voice acting (The Hacker Chronicles, The Entropy Centre). She moved to Los Angeles in 2019, traveling bicoastally during the pandemic back and forth to Asheville. In 2023, she consolidated back to Asheville, where she has an all-improvisational band called Pink Mercury and a thriving voice acting / voiceover career (as Chloe Taylor), and she is open to screen roles. She thinks of herself as a shapeshifter, a spiritual explorer, and a pretty kickass gardener.
