- Trilingual, Carolla Parmejano was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil where she began studying acting at age 8. She graduated from Macunaima Academy with a degree in Film and Scenic Arts in 2004. After graduation she moved to Canada to study Theater in Calgary and later to Milan, Italy for an intensive theater workshop at the Cinema Accademia de Teatro Alla Scala.
Carolla moved to Miami, where she furthered her study of acting with teachers at the Prometeo Teatro including Anna Pannaro, Sebastian Ligarde, Adriana Barraza and Hector Zabaleta. She booked several supporting roles in various Telemundo soap operas, such as Donde esta Elisa, Eva Luna, Alguien te mira, Aurora & La casa de Al Lado. She has also been the face of several advertising campaigns, the lead in several music videos including for JLo and Pitbull, and has been booked for countless print and voice over projects. Multitalented Carolla is also a charismatic TV host and producer. She has written, hosted and produced the Travel Show "Proxima Parada" airing in Brazil, and is currently the anchor of the show "Love for Upcycling".
