An up-and-comer on the rise, Toronto, ON native Rebecca Kwan moved to Vancouver, BC after leaving her steady, self-made business to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an actress. A natural born storyteller, Kwan felt drawn to acting and writing immediately. In 2021, Kwan booked her first series regular role in the CSA nominated Paramount+/CBC Gem show, "SkyMed", as Emma Lin, a ER Nurse working out of a remote nursing station discovering her new life up in Northern Manitoba while assisting in high stakes medical rescues and balancing relationships. Kwan is also fresh off of a supporting role on the indie feature "Jersey" Boy", along with "Our Ladies of Brooklyn", a CBS dramedy pilot from Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin, Charmed). She also appeared in "Taken" for NBC, and the feature film "Mouthpiece", directed by Patricia Rozema, which opened in the Special Presentations programme at TIFF and won the WIFTV Artistic Merit Award for drama at VIFF. When she's not acting, Kwan is focused on producing and writing under her own production company, SeeYun Entertainment.
