- Glen was once a full time professional Fire Fighter, serving with and for the Royal Australian Air Force.
- Made a scale version of the set piece from Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, with the AT-AT Walker docks to the landing platform, using cardboard tubes with real branches for the redwood forest, and more cardboard for the landing platform, and a plastic model kit of the walker.
