Minwoo Park _ A.K.A Minu Park
Minu Park is a director based on Brooklyn. With his language and cultural barrier to the western culture, he challenges as a film director who would like to show the cinema rather than tell.
He was growing up in Seoul, South Korea. An only child, raised by his grand mother rather than his parents in slum, he happens to understand importance of currencies in his early age. He becomes a cynicism person toward the capitalism society, because he felt lonely. People were working, finding their partner and raise their children. To Minu, the life has more meaningful reason than being alive.
He experienced variety of life from the bottom in slum to marines, and now he is in a different country to write and direct a new genre of film. His goal is creating his own new wave in the city with only foreign directors in the USA.
Currently, he is working on several feature film as a director and busy with his theoretical part of cinema as a director.
