Actor, Fine Artist, and Martial-Artist: Aaron Kai has appeared in films alongside Jennifer Blanc (Party Of Five, Everly) and with Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show, Los Angeles Overnight). The New Jersey native's early career began in New York City via the high fashion industry as an Illustrator for Polo Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Kai's own hand-painting style of 'hyperreelism' blends stories from the big screen with explosive action and keeps that action going on canvas. Kai's compositions live and breathe in the details he painstakingly renders. This immense talent has not been lost on Kai's celebrity collectors including:
Clint Eastwood, Ridley Scott, Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Michael Rosenbaum, Katherine Haber, Makeup Effects Group, Inc., Tim Reid, and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Kai also works with sculptor Nick Marra (Nick Marra Studios: over 150 films including, most notably: Jurassic Park, Terminator 3, The Hateful Eight, Man of Steel, Sin City), bringing Marra's ideas to life as drawings that provide a solid reference art for the sculptor, and a collectible piece after the project.
