Brent Kublick

Brent Kublick is an American actor born in Portland, Oregon. His love for movies and music started early on, watching Westerns with his dad, John and listening to music with his mom, Donna Lynn. Brent started playing the drums on cardboard boxes in his mom's garage as a young kid. He got his first real drum set from a pawn shop at age 15 for $110.00 and started teaching himself to play. Brent always had dreams of going to Hollywood to take a shot in the entertainment business...

After High School Brent started his music endeavor, playing Drums or Bass and Vocals in local Rock n Roll Bands around the Portland Club Scene. He also started his own Construction Business with one of his Best Friends to help finance the Rock n Roll Dream. Fast forward several years and Brent had a very successful construction career, and had played in a few almost successful bands in the NW Music Scene. ie; "Aristobrats", "The Licks" and "The Gates"

After getting laid off for the first time ever, due to the lingering effects the national recession, Brent caught wind of a casting call for a television show they were filming in Portland, OR. He stood in line with several hundred other people, he got the call back, then he got the part, and a few weeks later he was shooting scenes with Academy Award winner Timothy Hutton for the TNT hit show 'Leverage' (The Experimental Job and The Corkscrew Job). It was then that the acting bug took hold. Brent started taking acting classes with Ted Rooney at Blanche-Rooney Studios and landed several small parts on other shows that were filming in the Portland area, i.e., 'Grimm', 'Portlandia' and 'The Librarians'. He also landed parts in several movies shooting in town, such as 'Gone' starring Amanda Seyfried, 'All The Wilderness' with Danny DeVito and 'South of Heaven' with Daniel Baldwin.

It was around this time in 2013 that Brent realized that acting was his calling. He soon went to his 1st audition for a Big Budget Movie and landed a small part in a Bar Scene in the movie 'Wild' with Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon. Not long after that in 2014 Brent landed his first major speaking role, in the independent feature film, Crimson and Clover.

In the summer of 2015, he finally got the call from Hollywood to come act in his first starring role in a film shooting just outside the Hollywood Hills. This was the role of Bucefilus Quaid in the feature film, 'Cold Sun'. This movie had a test screening at the Cannes Film Festival in spring 2016. Not too long after that, Brent got another call from Hollywood to play the lead role in the independent spaghetti-style western, 'Cold Chains, Hard Hearts & Bloody Hands'. This was an off-the-grid shoot with Brent doing all his own stunts (as he did in 'Cold Sun'). This movie premiered in Beverly Hills in 2016 to great reviews and has attracted national and international attention.

About this time Brent's two entertainment "Worlds Collided" (pun intended) haha. when Brent got his foot in the door of the Hollywood Music Scene and started a band, "DROP 7" and recorded a two song demo with Platinum Selling Recording Artist and amazing drummer, Adrian Ost from the band "Powerman 5000" Unfortunately DROP 7 was short lived because Adrian had to exit temporarily to do an international tour with the band "SOIL" witch led to a tour with "The Cult" and then "Alice n Chains" for the next couple years. In 2017 Brent got back into character and landed a dream come true role in another Western. "Bring me The Head of Trapper Flint" Where Brents pivotal character garnered rave reviews as well one of his scenes in this movie was used as an example of how to "capture the audience" at a prominent Hollywood Acting Studio. Brent was also was singled out and described by a voting member of the Academy of Motion Pictures as a "scene stealing performance" and "perfectly executed" in the role of Laramie Larue.

In 2018 the cameras rolled again when Brent played The Lead Role of Vic Palisades in the feature film " ELVIS" with the talented Michael Bellisario from the show "JAG" etc. This Movie Premiered at The London Hotel in Hollywood, Ca. in 2019 with dozens of Hollywood's elite in attendance. Brent received many favorable reviews for this movie and also played Drums and Bass Guitar on the Sound Track in the band "Kalifornia and the Knightmares" with the movies Director, Isaac Mederios. Later that same year Brent landed the part of a bad guy, cowboy, gun slinger in the movie "Paper Dragons" slated for release on Netflix later this year.

In 2019 Brent was summoned to Hollywood once again to shoot a TV Pilot "Shadows and Light" working alongside Michael Bellisario again and the talented Laura James from the Hit Show, S.W.A.T. etc. Unfortunately the pilot did not get picked up, but Brent was able to shoot a highly memorable fight scene and was reunited with the talented Actress/Producer, Anna Maybury for a real cool Steve McQueen style Bar Scene. He also played the Drums on the Sound Track.

In 2020 the cameras rolled yet again when Brent starred alongside of the very talented and successful actor, Devon Bagby from Showtime's "Ray Donavon" They play two convicts who break out of jail to find lost love and redemption in the Action, Thriller "The Last Night on Earth". this movie premiered on Amazon Prime in Feb. 2021 and has had good reviews all year. This movie had an all star cast of several of Hollywood's talented actors! Also in this movie Brent once again made his "Worlds Collide" and teamed up with his Rock Star Buddy, Adrian Ost from "Powerman 5000" who had a cameo in this film.

Brent has recently signed on to co-star in another feature film projected to tart filming in the California Desert in the summer of 2021. Sounds like more fun in the sun! See you at the movies and as Brent would say.. Peace, Love & Hollywood
