Biography

Bran Sawamoto - Vargas (Bran Vargas) was born on July 21, 1986 to parents Mary Ann and Brillo. He is a Filipino with Spanish, Japanese, Chinese & Indian descent.

Bran Vargas started singing and performing at the age of 5 and has continued his formal lessons until the age of 15. He then studied classical music for 2 years at the Conservatory of Music at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. After which he then moved to Jakarta, Indonesia continuing his education, taking up Mass Communication.

He now has a singing and acting career in Jakarta, Indonesia as well as Europe.

Although Bran Vargas has focused on singing his whole life, he is also active in theatre and has acted, danced, choreographed, written, directed and produced several theatre productions.

By 2011 Bran started doing TV work, by 2013 starred in his first film debut.
