Shawheen Keyani is a first-generation Iranian-American filmmaker and photographer. Raised in Tehran, he mastered English by watching bootleg VHS tapes of Hollywood films, a foundational experience that ignited his passion for cinema. After relocating to America, Shawheen pursued Film and Art studies at UCSC, further honing his craft and developing a humorous, culturally-infused artistic voice that now characterizes his diverse body of work.
