Edit
  • Trivia
Son of TV pioneer H.J. Barton-Chapple. Older brother of actor Derek Waring. Like his brothers, he also worked as an actor occasionally, but was most notable as a writer and is not to be confused with unrelated English-born American actor Richard Waring. He is not, as some sources claim, brother of actor George Waring - the two men were born only four months apart.
