He was born in Japan. He started his acting career in "The Wolverine", which inspired him to take on more acting roles in film, television and theatre. Since then he has been getting experiences in a variety of performing opportunities such as "Hacksaw Ridge" directed by Mel Gibson, "Unbroken" directed by Angelina Jolie, "The Narrow Road t the Deep North" by Justin Kurzel, "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga", "Mad Max: Fury Road", "The Great Australian Race Riot" etc. He also performed in "Madama Butterfly" by Opera Australia and some voice overs like "Mortal Kombat 2", Toshiba "Seriously Japanese" and Queensland Government.
