Joseph Yates is an Atlanta based filmmaker originally from Richmond, VA. He wrote and directed the award-winning horror-comedy short "Fetal Position," which played at Fantastic Fest 2023 and is being developed into a feature film, and produced the independent thriller "Soul to Keep" starring Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr.
As an actor, he is known for his roles as Re-Animated Frankenstein on HBO's "Lovecraft Country," the Netflix original "Juanita," and "Megan Thee Stallion: P.I." He was also the extras casting director on "Stranger Things" season 5.
