Alain Gratious is an African-Australian filmmaker; born in Sud-Kivu, Zaïre. A Director and Producer who came to prominence for his directorial debut in The Bribe(2013).
Alain has always been fascinated by moving images and how the world is represented through lenses. Naturally, he was drawn to storytelling cinematography, an interest was cultivated producing commercials and indie short films and further developed when he opted to take his academic studies in the creative industries.
After completing his academic studies, Alain delved even more into his passion for cinematography practice, which involved developing stories through the approach of cinematic aesthetics and techniques.
As a writer, specializing in screenwriting, script supervising, he is dedicated to the perfection of his craft by refining himself aesthetically and technically through diverse mediums of filmmaking.
