Biography

Jesse Salazar III is an independent Texas filmmaker that has made an impact on the South Texas film and journalism community. Since 2009, he has worked in virtually every area of digital video and cinema production, winning the accolades and approval of his peers and mentors along the way.

Jesse has produced both feature and short films in multiple genres, with a primary focus on documentary work and drama. His films have been officially selected for multiple film festivals in the Texas area. Before that, he worked hard in the independent journalism community for small news outlets in the San Antonio area.

Beyond just film work, Jesse continues to produce videos for multiple businesses and individuals nationwide. He has recorded and put together video productions for media events, festivals, concerts, music videos, small business, weddings, corporate videos, general interest stories, lifestyle shows, promotional work, conducting interviews with a variety of individuals including musicians, celebrities, and those involved in the Texas community.

In 2014, Jesse completed his education at the University of Texas in Austin for Radio-Television-Film. Prior to that, he graduated at the top of his class from Northwest Vista College with degrees in New Media Communications and Digital Video.

When Jesse is not making films, he's spending every free moment with his son, Jesse Salazar IV, who has also established a presence as an actor. Together, the two of them strive to show the world the best Texas has to offer.
