Lauren Biazzo is a New York-based actor known for playing tough, street-smart women with heart - the cop who knows the neighborhood, the bartender who's seen it all, or the best friend who tells it like it is.
Originally from Long Island, Lauren brings an unmistakable authenticity to roles rooted in working-class grit and dry humor. She's appeared on FBI: Most Wanted, starred alongside Ray Romano in Somewhere in Queens, and recurs as Detective Marina Cruz on Law & Order: SVU.
A BFA graduate of Adelphi University, Lauren also trains in unarmed and armed combat for camera, and is an alum of Upright Citizens Brigade and The Pit - adding comedic edge and physicality to her grounded, real-world characters.
Her performance as the lead in The Nomad earned her Best Actress at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards. She continues to study the Greek language and brings that same curiosity and scrappy determination to every role she takes on.
