Baharan Baniahmadi (born on April 18,1984) is an Iranian-Canadian actress based in Montreal, Known for her TV shows and feature films in Iran, Canada and Middle-Eastern countries.

After attaining a BA in theatre at the Art University of Tehran, a BA in Paris and an MA in philosophy and art from Paris-8 University In France, Baharan started her acting career and worked with many international stage directors across the world such as Ariane Mnouchkine and Fabrice Nicot, Amirreza Koohestani, Izumi Ashizawa, etc. Baharan completely switched to cinema after her third film "The Canon of the Accident", which also gained her popularity as an Iranian actress on the international film festival circuit.

She immigrated to Canada in 2018 and immediately became the best actress of color in 2019 in Montreal (DAM). She could immediately regain her credibility in Canadian and Quebecer cinema and art field.

She has played roles in English, French, Persian and Arabic as a multilingual actress.

Beside being an actress, Baharan is a published writer, with her first collection of short stories came out in Iran in 2006.
