From a young age, it was clear that Hunter Payton Mendoza would be working in front of the camera. At age 6, he was already seen in National commercials, as well as in the HBO series Funny or Die Presents... (2007) . Hunter is a versatile actor, always challenging himself to play different character types in all genres- Comedy, Drama, Improv, etc.
In 2020, Hunter played Jordan on Disney Channel's Raven (2017). In 2022 he won an award for his role in Los Angeles: Bad Girls (2019) where he performed a few of his own stunts. Also in 2022, Hunter played Ryder in the feature film A Genie's Tail (2022) with Laura Marano, Jake Paul and The Farley Brothers.
Hunter is often recognized for his recurring role on the NBC TV series A to Z (2014) created by Ben Queen with Rashida Jones and Will McCormack as Executive Producers. One of his most rewarding experiences was playing a Young RJ Mitte in a challenging role as a young child with Muscular Dystrophy in the film Who's Driving Doug (2016) winning him an award in 2017. Other TV credits include Esprits criminels (2005) , SyFy's Ominous (2015) and the TV Movie #Amour et Déconnexion (2017). In Father's Day Breakfast (2017) Hunter acted along side Oscar winner Troy Kotsur playing his son winning him two Best Actor awards in 2017 and 2018.
Among his many national commercial bookings are Home Depot, Buick, Hyundai, McDonalds, and Samsung. In addition to acting and improv, Hunter enjoys doing his own stunts and is constantly training in Parkour and MMA. In 2023, Hunter started competing as a Professional Athlete in World Chase Tag on ESPN. With his determination, talent, compassion, and gregarious nature, he will certainly be in the public eye for a long time.
