Scott Sikma first worked in Toronto's entertainment world as a child actor in television shows and commercials. His interest in the creative aspects of the business led him to study Classic Animation and Story Telling under Steve Rabatich of Disney Pixar Studios. He then studied film and earned a degree in New Media at the University of Lethbridge. At that time, he worked on the feature Interstellar. Shortly thereafter, Scott moved to Vancouver and worked as a trainee assistant director on CW Network's The Flash and other television shows and films in the area.

Since returning to Calgary in 2018, he acted as 1st AD on several films including Miracle in East Texas starring Kevin Sorbo and John Ratzenberger and completed the feature film Root of the Problem, his directorial debut. His theatrical documentary Historic Murals of Alberta is in production along side Alberta Haunts a historic biopic of Albertas haunted historical past.

Scott's early experience has led to a passion for creating entertainment excellence. Audiences should be able to immerse themselves in the artistic experience, he believes. He is keen to continue to develop both his creative and leadership skill sets and is vigorously pursuing his career as a Director and 1 st Assistant Director.
