Diego Ayala is a 30-year-old Chilean screenwriter whose ability to tell stories has captivated audiences worldwide. Born and raised in Santiago, Ayala achieved his first major success in 2017 with the film "Sin Filtro", which became the second most-watched film in the history of Chile, attracting an attendance of 1.3 million spectators. Additionally, the film has been acquired by more than 15 countries, demonstrating its global impact.
Following this great success, Ayala joined the team of screenwriters for the second season of the acclaimed Netflix series, "Luis Miguel", and also worked on the series "Entrelazados" for Disney+. His work on these two series further consolidated his reputation as a versatile screenwriter.
In his next project, Ayala wrote "Desconectados", the first original Chilean comedy film for Prime Video. The film was a huge success and was nominated for Best Ibero-American Comedy Film at the prestigious Platino Awards in 2023.
