As we first reported on SFFGazette.com, Universal Pictures has just conjured up an extended featurette for the movie (billed as a "First Look"), along with two gorgeous new character posters putting the spotlight on the sequel's leads.

The much anticipated sequel to Wicked from last year, even more magical Part 2. This behind-the-scenes look complements the first trailer a few months back. For Good is the second chapter of this immersive, cultural celebration. "It's really about them trying to get back together in some way, even if the fates don't allow that." As an angry mob rises up against the Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba will need to come together one final time. With their strong friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good. Cynthia Erivo stars as Elphaba Thropp, a young woman with green skin who becomes the Wicked Witch.

Fans of The Boys universe packed Ballroom 20 on Friday as Prime Video hosted the first-ever San Diego Comic-Con panel for Gen V. Showrunner Michele Fazekas and cast members Jaz Sinclair (Marie Moreau), Maddie Phillips (Cate Dunlap), London Thor (female Jordan Li), Derek Luh (male Jordan Li), and Hamish Linklater (Dean Cipher) answered questions from moderator and franchise star P.J. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at San Diego Comic-Con, the producer explained how paying tribute to Perdomo and his character Andre Anderson was top of mind going into the sophomore installment of The Boys spinoff.

“[That was] probably the No. 1 thing we wanted to do,” Fazekas said of commemorating the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum. “Just watching the show and watching even just the trailer for it … we did it so long ago and I remember being in the writer’s room and talking about how important it was to honor him. And then when you watch the show, he exists throughout the entire season. It was, in many ways, about Andre and about Chance. And, yeah, I’m very proud of that actually.”

The pair, alongside their co-stars and other surprise guests, will perform songs from the first movie — and it can be assumed that they’ll tease music from “For Good” too, as a press release from NBCUniversal says to expect “maybe, just maybe, a little bit from the upcoming film.”

The two-hour special was first announced at NBCUniversal’s presentation at upfronts in New York in May. After broadcasting at 8 p.m. on Nov. 6, it will stream on Peacock beginning on Nov. 7.

The movie will then be heading to Prime Video, which has a deal with Universal to get the second-run rights to the studio’s live-action releases. Fans who want to watch the movie on Peacock have until July 20. Since the highly anticipated sequel, Wicked: For Good, arrives in November 2025, fans will want to revisit the film before heading to theaters.

What Do We Know About 'Wicked: For Good'?...

Two massive changes have been revealed to the story of Nessarose (Marissa Bode) in Wicked: For Good, and these changes fix a significant problem from the original musical. The second and final movie adapting the Broadway musical will continue the stories of Nessarose, Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), Glinda (Ariana Grande-Butera), and other key characters after Wicked's dramatic ending.

There was a positive reception to the first movie casting a disabled actor, Bode, to play the role of Nessarose. However, there has been considerable speculation about how disability representation will be handled in Wicked: For Good's story since the second act of the stage musical sees Nessarose walking through Elphaba's magic.

While attending last weekend’s 78th Tony Awards, the Emmy-winning actress teased who from Broadway she’d like to work with on an upcoming season of the CBS procedural comedy drama.

“There’s so many people on this red carpet that I’ve met tonight or that I know. I always ask them, ‘Do you wanna be on the show? Because I’ll pass it along,'” she told Us Weekly at the awards show.

However, fans shouldn’t expect to see two Wicked icons in Wicked: For Good.

In an interview with ExtraTV, Tony Award-winner Kristin Chenoweth confirmed that she won’t be making a cameo in Wicked: For Good. Chenoweth played Glinda in the original Broadway production of Wicked alongside Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel’s Elphaba. Chenoweth, when asked about the upcoming Wicked movie, said neither she nor Menzel would be a part of it.

Wicked: For Good gets a new casting update, revealing that two actors won't be returning in the highly anticipated sequel. To say that the first part of Jon M. Chu's blockbuster take on Broadway smash Wicked went down well with fans and critics alike would be something of an understatement.
