Jos Duncan

Jos Duncan is an independent filmmaker. Her interest in film sparked out of a passion for folklore and storytelling. She developed her eye for cinema as a Philadelphia based videographer where she primarily documented folkloric dance and cultural rituals. She attended the City College of New York for film (media and communications) and worked on several projects as a cinematographer. Upon returning to Philadelphia, she honed screenwriting skills and was selected a fellow with a Sundance Institute Screenwriting Intensive in 2013. She's received additional awards and fellowships for her storytelling and social impact work.
