Resurrection and Revenge Take Place on Halloween Weekend in Official Trailer and Poster for Josh Hasty’s Candy Corn
After filming the extensive behind-the-scenes documentary In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn: The Making of 31, writer/director Josh Hasty takes viewers to a small town haunted by a vengeful soul on Halloween weekend in his next film, Candy Corn. Candy Corn Trailer Has Horror Icons Lining Up for Dr. Death's Sideshow
Epic Pictures has unveiled the trailer for Candy Corn. Director Josh Hasty, perhaps best known for his cult favorite In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn, is back with a scary new Halloween thriller that is sure to be a big hit with horror fans this fall. This creepy spookshow spectacular is coming to select theaters this September, and today with have a first look at the terrifying madness hidden within. Epic Pictures has given us the trailer, poster and a number of images. Along for the ride are Candyman himself, Tony Todd and a number of other horror icons.

The trailer kicks off with a pretty brutal attack on a seemingly innocent man by a group of unfeeling thugs. It's shockingly sadistic. Reviewing 5 Popular Web Series Based on Books
1. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. A runaway success that sparked a veritable wave of web adaptations of romantic novels and stories, this Emmy-winning series is inventive, romantic, and beautifully executed. Ashley Clements and Daniel Vincent Gordh (particularly the former) handled their iconic Lizzie/Darcy roles with aplomb, and the series pulled a particular coup by casting Mary Kate Wiles as Lydia and reshaping her story as that of a party girl who gets hurt and slowly grows up over the course of the series. The interactions between sisters Lizzie, Lydia, and Jane (Laura Spencer), are warm and real and the highlight of the series along with the slowly-built-up Darcy/Lizzie romance.

The main flaw in the series is that it’s too long – the first 50 episodes chronicle every event that happens in the book, and while book purists might call this praiseworthy, this is a web-series not a BBC adaptation, and...
