According to reports, Chethan Kumar also decided to opt out of the project as he wasn’t comfortable directing a film penned by another writer. Following this, Abhishek’s debut film ran into trouble. However, things have been sorted out now with news coming that Nagashekar has been roped in to direct the film. As reported earlier, Sandesh will be bankrolling the venture under his banner Sandesh Productions. Director Nagashekar has films such as Myna (2013), Sanju Weds Geetha (2011) and Aramane (2008) to his credit till date. Abhishek is keen on making his debut soon and has undergone training in acting, dance and martial arts. With varying reports about his debut flick coming up and two directors walking out of the project for reasons best known to them, the makers of this star kid’s debut film will be releasing an official statement about the project once things are finalised, say sources. It may be mentioned here that Abhishek’s parents, Ambareesh and Sumalatha, are veteran actors with several prestigious awards to their credit.
