Born in Switzerland to Lebanese and French parents, Philippe's passion for film led him to the UK where he studied cinema at the University of Nottingham and Central Saint Martins. Following work experience at Fox Searchlight and Lionsgate Studios in LA, Philippe ventured into directing with his latest short "Ruby Red" (2020) winning several awards on the festival circuit. In parallel, Philippe has taken part in the Berlinale Talents scheme (2016), ventured into producing ("Butterfly Kisses" Crystal Bear Winner 2017) and attended the FEMIS screenwriter's program (Atelier Scenario, 2020/21).
