During high school Sue began performing and directing with the drama club and auditioned for the National Theatre School in 1977. After nearly 20 years away from the stage, she began to pursue her acting career again in 1994 with Meaford in 'I Hate Hamlet'.
Sue was a cast member for a several stage shows with Owen Sound Little Theatre including You Can't Take it With You, To Grandmother's House We Go, Oklahoma, Gypsy, Heat Wave, Les Belles Soeurs, and The Donnelly's, and Noises Off, plus one professional production for Summer at the Roxy as Annie in 'Colours in the Storm'. She has recently been cast as 'Charlotte' in "7 Stories" for June 2025.
In May of 2009 Sue started camera work after auditioning successfully for a Toronto ad company, appearing in a Chapman's commercial.
Sue has trained with Enio Mascherin of Second City (improv), Christy Taylor (musical theatre), Tom Todoroff (stage), Stevie Vallance (voice animation), Jeb Beach, and several Toronto Casting Directors (camera) to gain audition and performance skills.
As a 13-year member of ACTRA Canada, Sue has completed hundreds of self-tape and in-person auditions, and works with her agent Melissa Love at FilmComm.

She had her first role as an Actor in Small Achievable Goals, airing late February, 2025.
