Just know that this is the type of story that reaches beyond the battered content we see pumped out on a regular basis. Its not a seamless tale but theres heart here and that drives the machine into respectable territory. Youll find plenty of faults in the feature but if you approach it with an open mind you just might catch a glimpse of the grandiose tale that Hish and screenwriters Ian Ascher and Chris W. Freeman (Hish has a hand in the writing process as well) aimed to tell.

From director Matt Hish comes the first trailer for a supernatural thriller called Haunting of the Innocent. Haunting of the Innocent stars Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club), Jessica Morris (Reel Evil)and Hannah Cowley.

Synopsis:

Desperate to reconnect with his wife and son after a violent attack leaves them fear-stricken and traumatized, a father moves his family to a sleepy New England town and finds himself in a fight against supernatural forces hell-bent on tearing them apart.

Haunting of the Innocent will release through Redbox outlets January 28th, 2014. The film will then launch through home video formats in March of 2014.

The film stars Judd Nelson, Rib Hillis, Jessica Morris and Hannah Cowley and was written by Ian Ascher, Chris Freeman, and Matt Hish

New supernatural chiller 'A Haunting in Thornby' recently wrapped production and now the Matt Hish helmed horror is due for a November 2013 release. The co-production, which was originally touted as 'A Haunting in Massachusetts', between Khoury A Marriot Production and Raging Bull Entertainment has been picked up by UnCork'd Entertainment for Us distribution. Hish helms from a script provided by writers Chris W. Freeman and Ian Ascher.
