Abbott Elementary Season 3’s Best New Character Is A Reminder To Watch This Underrated Comedy
Image
One of Abbott Elementary season 3's new characters is Manny, the leader of a new cohort of school district representatives, played by The Other Two star Josh Segarra. Josh Segarra's Lance was one of the best characters in The Other Two because of his perpetually kind and joyful demeanor. Segarra's role as Manny in Abbott Elementary season 3 is reminiscent of Lance in The Other Two and serves as a reminder to watch the underrated series, which was cancelled amid an Hr scandal involving the showrunners.

The actor behind Abbott Elementary season 3's best new character previously starred in an underrated comedy that is totally worth the watch. Abbott Elementary season 3 finally arrived in February 2024, returning to the chaotic halls and classrooms of the titular Philadelphia school. Shortly after the two-part season 3 premiere, Abbott Elementary was renewed for season 4, ensuring more hilarious hijinks for the teachers, students, and admin who...

Review: Low Life is a Decent Digital Thriller and an Even Better Character Piece
Image
Heads up, thriller fans! I’ve got something that you might want to check out. Low Life is a tense thriller that situates itself directly in our modern digital era, while also playing on a classic cat and mouse premise. Director Tyler Michael James manages to blend a very modern style with more of a classic thriller approach, while tackling a tricky subject as the center of his film.

Benny Jansen (Wes Dunlap) is a streamer who makes videos of himself tracking down and exposing child sex predators. He poses as underaged girls online and waits for older men to strike up a conversation. Once the interactions reach a certain level and a meet-up is requested, he shows up and busts them on camera.

His current project was brought to him by a local teenager and fan of his channel named Nicole (Lucy Urbano) who suspects that her friend’s father is a predator.

Introducing ‘31 Days’ A Collection Of Halloween Inspired Photo Sets By Rae Mystic, One For Each Day Of The Spookiest Month Of The Year: "What began as a photography challenge to capture 31 different halloween or horror-themed looks throughout the month of October in 2018 has now transformed into ‘31 Days,’ a physical collection of horror and spooky themed photography from renowned photographer, Rae Mystic.

“After completion I thought, ‘How cool would it be to turn it into a physical collection?’ but imposter syndrome and a global pandemic stopped me from moving forward with it,” says Rae Mystic. “But I was still growing in my craft.”

In the years since starting the project, Rae Mystic has grown into a full-time photography and production business complete with a photo house, themed rooms, and a collection of wonderful clients.

“Three and a half years later, I decided it was time to pick back up this passion project.

Chris Rock at an event for Madagascar 3 : Bons baisers d'Europe (2012)
Everybody Hates Chris Is Getting Rebooted With a Twist
Chris Rock at an event for Madagascar 3 : Bons baisers d'Europe (2012)
Everybody hates Chris—even in animated form. A reimagined animated version of sitcom Everybody Hates Chris—which ran for four seasons from 2005 to 2009—called Everybody Still Hates Chris is coming to Paramount+ and Comedy Central, E! News confirms. The animated series is similarly inspired by the teenage years of Chris Rock, who returns as narrator and executive producer. Everybody Still Hates Chris, according to MTV Studios, will chronicle Rock's "experiences growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s." The original live-action series, which starred Abbott Elementary's Tyler James...

Thor Star Says It's Illegal for Marvel Actors to Join the Dceu
Chris Hemsworth
Breaking the law! Breaking the law! That's what any Marvel actor might sing if they ever signed on for a Dceu movie while also appearing in the McU. Chris Hemsworth portrays Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he also plays other roles like Kevin in Ghostbusters and George Kirk in Star Trek. Which is totally normal for an actor to do. But according to Hemsworth, it's "illegal" for a Marvel actor to appear in a DC movie, which makes sense. Disney/Marvel vs. Warner Bros./DC is a perceived rivalry shared by fans and even some critics, though it's just honestly not true on any sort of official level. Fans seem to take joy in pitting the two comic companies against each other and a "crossing of the streams" doesn't seem like it would be very popular at this point in time.

Chris Hemsworth made in appearance at Sydney's...

Avengers: Infinity War Has “A Lot More Villains” Than Just Thanos
In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos will finally step out of the shadows and take on the combined forces of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. After various teaser appearances and cameos dating all the way back to 2012’s The Avengers, there’s a lot of hype for the Mad Titan and he’s set to be the biggest, baddest enemy the heroes of the Marvel universe have ever faced. Apparently, though, he won’t be the only threat that Cap, Iron Man, Thor and the rest of the gang have to go up against in the film.

At the Supanova Comic-Con in Sydney, Australia, this weekend, the God of Thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth, hinted at how formidable and intimidating Thanos will be as an antagonist – but also revealed that he won’t be the only villain the Avengers will need to deal with next year in Infinity War.

We all should be very afraid of Thanos.

Will Spider-Man: Homecoming Have More Than One Post-Credits Scene?
What would a Marvel movie be without a post-credits scene? Ever since Nick Fury turned up to talk about “the Avengers initiative” at the end of Iron Man, sticking around for that extra sequence (or, more often than not, two) has become an essential part of the viewing experience for fans. It looks like we should be prepared to stay alert at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well, as the movie is set to have a must-see post-credits scene.

At this week’s Supanova Comic Con in Sydney, Australia, director Jon Watts appeared via Skype to give some info on Homecoming. As Twitter user @Tyler_Cull3n revealed (via ComicBook.com), Watts mentioned that the movie would have a post-credits sequence “worth sticking around for.”

Jon Watts confirms that Homecoming has after credit scenes that are definately "worth sticking around for" (Obviously). #Supanova.

Newswire: No, Thor’s roommate Darryl will not be in Ragnarok
Alas, Thor will ditch his new earthling pal, Darryl, the co-star of the short mockumentaries about the Asgardian’s life in between blockbusters, for his space adventures in Ragnarok. That’s probably best for Darryl (Daley Pearson) given that Thor was something of a thorn in his side, but bad news for those of us who enjoyed the odd-couple pairing of Avenger and normal dude. Chris Hemsworth himself reportedly confirmed this news at Australia’s Supanova Comic-Con, and it comes to us via Cbr.com.

Chris confirms that Daryl will Not appear in Ragnarok. Possibly in Infinity War though... #ChrisHemsworth #Supanova

— Tyler James (@Tyler_Cull3n) June 18, 2017

When we asked director Taika Waititi back in February whether Darryl will show up, he said: “The short answer? No.” While Waititi noted that he would have liked to find a way for Darryl to be present it didn’t work out. At...

Spider-man: Homecoming Has Multiple Post-Credits Scenes "Worth Sticking Around For"
Marvel sure does love their post-credits scenes! They usually stick a couple in at the end of every movie. Then there was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which include five post-credits scenes! All of which were fantastic.

Well now, Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts has confirmed that the movie will have post-credit scenes "worth sticking around for." He didn't exactly say how many, but we know there will be multiple. I imagine anywhere between 2 and 5.

The director shared this bit of info at Sydney’s Supanova Comic Con, and it was shared online by a fan who was at the event via Twitter:

Jon Watts confirms that Homecoming has after credit scenes that are definately "worth sticking around for" (Obviously). #Supanova.

— Tyler James (@Tyler_Cull3n) June 18, 2017

Yeah, it's not really a surprise that the film would have post-credits scenes, but I am curious to see what they will involve.

Thor: Ragnarok - Taika Waititi says it's "about 100 minutes" long
Rob Leane Kirsten Howard Simon Brew Jul 27, 2017

Be prepared to feel surprisingly un-numb in the bum area when Marvel's third Thor film arrives in cinemas later this year...

We know the drill by now - if there's a new McU movie out, we'll need to pack enough food and drink for the trip to last about 3 hours, various layers of clothing depending on how well the air conditioning's holding up, and our extremely flattering Dvt socks to prevent stationary blood clotting. Planning is key.
