Born in Istanbul in 1974. Since 1993 he has been a musician for a long time in Grup Yorum which is a protest-folk band in Turkey. His first film, "Gerçek Hikaye", was shot in 2000. Since then he has directed three films and a music video. "Cehennemde Üç Gün" is the first feature-length documentary.
