Sherif Fathy Salem is an Egyptian/Italian film producer/director with fifteen years of experience producing and directing a diverse range of high-profile documentaries and short films for distinguished broadcasters.
His documentary "Living with walls" which was filmed in Northern Ireland, Cyprus, and the West Bank won an honorable mention from the 3rd International "Beyond the Borders" Documentary Festival, Greece 2018. While his "Clandestini" was an official selection in the International Festival of Mediterranean Documentary Film and Reportage, Marseille, France 2009. His filmography also includes titles such as "Being Free" (27', 2021) "Pharaohs of Squash" (54', 2019), "that Alexandria" (77', 2013), and "The Italians of Egypt" (80', 2011).
He lives between Rome and Cairo where he was born and pursued his university degrees first in Architecture 1990, then in Film Directing 1994.
