Biography

Nonie L. Robinson is a 2023 Peabody Award winning producer and the granddaughter of renowned Pioneer Black Stuntman and Coordinator Ernie Robinson. Nonie has worked in Development at HBO Films, HBO Series and in HBO's Production Division. During her tenure at HBO, Nonie worked on a diverse slate of projects including, "Insecure", "Game of Thrones", "The Wire", "Six Feet Under" and "Entourage". In 2022, Nonie was featured in Showtime's 4-time Emmy Nominated Docuseries "We Need to Talk About Cosby" that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. Nonie was recently a featured writer in The Hollywood Reporter discussing her grandfather's work with the late Mr. Sidney Poitier who was a fierce supporter of her forthcoming groundbreaking documentary series "Painted Down" in honor of the legacy of her grandfather, and all black stuntmen and women who helped create opportunity for others.
