Biography

E McCoy is a filmmaker known for making character-driven stories that push narrative boundaries and challenge audiences.

E got his start in Hollywood after working as an assistant to a veteran producer. Later, he was lucky enough to sell a few feature film spec scripts, two of which were made into Feature Films: Category 5 (2013) starred Chelsea Kane, C. Thomas Howell, and the legendary Burt Reynolds in one of his last American Film appearances, and Impact Earth (2015) for which E wrote the original draft.

E took a break from writing scripts for other people to adapt after he was heartbroken by the final cuts of his first two films as a screenwriter. He moved to Atlanta in 2015, and spent 2015-2022 founding an advertising production company and building a reputation as a go-to director and producer for major blue chip brands and creative ad agency partners.

E got the chance to direct his first feature film, American Dogma (2024). E continues producing and directing advertising content through his production firm, Dynamite Picture Company, and has a number of films and TV projects in development as a screenwriter, director, or producer as of 2023.
