Katie Burgess is a British Actress. Born in the North West of England, raised in Middleton and proud of her Mancunian heritage.
From a very young age her interest and enthusiasm for the arts shone: from dance to music and especially acting, attending Oldham Theatre Workshop during her school years. Graduating from Liverpool Hope University, with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language in 2008, Katie then took residence at the acclaimed David Johnson Drama School.
Katies' professional career started in the theatre: 'VIP', won 'Best Play' at the 'New Live Theatre' showcase and she has been involved in productions at the 'Lowry Theatre' in Manchester. Appearing in numerous commercials and short films, her career began to grow.
Katie is very proud to have been part of 'Wingman', which was nominated for 'Best Comedy' at the LOCO film festival and the short horror film 'Drive Safe', which was selected for the BBC show 'The Fear'.
