Kelsy Lorene Barnes was born and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the second of two children of Stephanie Root, a house cleaner, and David Barnes, who owns his own Drywall/moving company. Kelsy attended Bartlesville High-school where she played basketball all through high-school. Kelsy charmed everyone with her bright smile and funny personality.
At an early age (13) Kelsy, without a doubt knew what she wanted to be for the rest of her life, an Actress. Growing up Kelsy didn't know anything about acting or how to even get a role on a Television show. One afternoon (age 13) Kelsy was sitting in front of the Television watching a Disney show and told herself "That is what I want to be. I want to be on television. I want to be an actor." In 2007, Kelsy Started going to acting/modeling competitions in Dallas Texas. There she signed with her first agency.
Once Kelsy started to understand how acting and the business worked she moved to LA where she now lives. Kelsy has been in Avicii "You Make Me" music video, 2014. Starred in feature films such as "One Last Laugh" and "Recovery".
