Manju Bangalore is an actor, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. She grew up in Oregon and began acting at the age of 10, making her stage debut as Pongo in 101 Dalmatians. She has since trained at The Last Acting Studio and performed in numerous theater productions, including originating the lead roles of Nikki in The Fruit Stand and Estraven in Ursula K. Le Guin's Left Hand of Darkness.
On screen, Manju has appeared in national commercials for Olay and the University of Oregon, starred opposite Patrick J. Adams in the short film Happy Birthday, and played a supporting role in the TV pilot Dream Big. She has also been featured in General Hospital and Animal Kingdom, as well as in Beyoncé's Black Is King music video.
Beyond acting, Manju is a passionate advocate for diversity in the industry. She produced Happy Birthday and is completing her play, we will one day run. Her work extends far beyond entertainment -- she is also a scientist and aspiring astronaut, author, nonprofit founder, 2022 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, and Miss Oregon USA 2023.
