Biography

Paul Andrew Goldsmith is a UK based actor, experienced in TV/Film and Theatre. He is also a director and divisor. He is well known in Nollywood, following his portrayal of Paul in 2018 feature film 'Just One Blood'. He played Officer Frank Petty in 'Stanleys War', a do-cu-drama that received 5* from the BFI's Sight & Sound magazine.

Paul was born in Norwich in 1977. As a child he would perform for family and friends by putting on comedy shows inventing characters and doing impersonations. He was often asked up in front of school assembly to do impersonations. Despite the passion to perform at an early age, Paul never pursued his talent further until he began comparing local event nights. He thought the run of the mill local quiz presenters were dull and so started hosting quiz nights but adding comedy and impersonations to the event. He once compared a whole event as 'Ali G'. This led to Paul entering local amateur dramatics at the age of 26. He quickly established himself as an in demand actor and landed large roles in back to back productions. Over the last year he has begun transferring his passion to film and is working hard to gain more and more experience with paid and unpaid work.
