Juan Sebastian Silva Martinez (Sebastian Silva) was born in Ibagué, Tolima on January 30, 1993. From a very young age he felt passion and desire to execute the arts. His first approach was to enter to study in 1999 at the Colegio Liceo Musical Santa Cecilia, where at 6 he learned to play Violin, Piano and musical grammar. With the Colegio Santa Cecilia Orchestra he performed concerts throughout the country, playing traditional Colombian music and classical pieces of the world. In 2003, he moved to the city of Bogotá and began his training as an actor, entering to Nicolas Esguerra's theatrical company, directed by professors of the Academia Superior de Artes de Bogotá ASAB. For four years he was part of this company, interpreting plays like 'Entre cómicos te has de ver' of the teacher Luis Enrique Osorio, 'Fin de Partida' of de Samuel Beckett, 'El Rey Arturo', among other. In the musical group of the school he learned to play guitar and vocal technique, initiating a rock band called Dessert Music as a vocalist. The band began to grow little by little making presentations in different schools, bars, events in the city and finally on television, arriving to win the festivals of 'La Batalla de las Bandas' and "School of rock" in the city of Bogotá. In 2010, he entered to study Film at the Universidad Nacional De Colombia, and alternately he started working on his first regional television project as a host of 'La Disko TV', a program of music and entertainment news. He also began to compose his first songs as a soloist and upload them to YouTube, where he acquired a great popularity that led him to sing in several television shows and countries like Mexico and Peru, where he won the prize 'Artist with the greatest projection', delivered in the iconic stage of 'La Estación de Barranco' in Lima in 2012. He shared stage with artists such as Ventino, Maluma, Abraham Mateo, Gusi y Beto, Tres de Corazones and La Bermúdez, among others. His appearance in film festivals begins to occur with the short film 'Despite the silence' directed by Miguel Gallego, winner of the 'Alexis' prize with honorable mention at the Bogotá International Film Festival in 2013. His popularity in social networks increased and he decided to start a web show with one of his actor friends Nicolas Castro, called "Sebs and Nick", a fun show for teenagers, where they made sketch, parodies, music and challenges. This show was pre-nominated for the Kids Choice Awards by Nickelodeon in 2015; along with great celebrities at the moment such as Paula Galindo 'Pautips', Mario Ruiz, Juan Pablo Jaramillo and Sebastian Villalobos. In 2014, he made his first theater season of the play "Quién Mató a Ernesto", representing Ernesto, a young man who comes to Spain to fall in love with three sisters and one of them three murders him. A mysterious success to be solved that was reflected in box office and brought in 2015 a second season of the work presented at the 'Teatro Barajas'. In 2015, Sebastian Silva began his career in important musicals in Colombia, playing Titero in 'Frank y la juguetería mágica', presented at the majestic 'Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo' and in 2016 he played 'El Príncipe' in the musical Blancanieves, presented at the iconic 'Teatro Colón' in Bogotá. He played Facundo, an Argentine exchange student in two seasons of the funny series 'Primiparos', recorded in the city of Medellín in 2015 and 2016. In addition to participating in the first series made by Fanta 'Juegatela con Fanta' in Colombia for all Latin America. He is chosen to play Albertico, the small version of the lifelong lover of the singer Celia Cruz, produced by Fox Telecolombia for RCN. He starts working as a digital influencer, doing commercials and advertising for renowned brands around the world such as Coca-Cola, Lenovo, Fanta, Pepsi, Geff, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Rexona, Sandwich Qbano, Oreo, Zara, Salitre Magico, Smirnoff, Sony Music, Sony Entertainment, among others. In 2016, he is chosen to interview the cast of 'Teenage mutant ninja turtles', including Megan Fox and Stephen Amell. He travels to Mexico to appear in television commercials such as Movistar, Nescafé, among others, and to collaborate with Mexican digital influencers and youtubers. In 2017, he returned to Colombia to work with the important record company Sony Music, who signed him, becoming one of the first youtubers signed by a record company in Latin America; launching his first professional single 'Arráncame'. Also achieving a pre-nomination as a digital revelation artist at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Sebastián Silva led the list of artists in the great event that takes place throughout Latin America, 'El club media fest', a live show for thousands of young people who love and follow the digital world, sharing stage with great figures of the digital world such as JuanPa Zurita, Yellow Mellow, Kika Nieto, Daniel Samper Ospina, Ami Rodriguez, Adexe y Nau, Ventino and more. Sebastian Silva creates a project called 'Team X' with actor Dylan Fuentes and digital influencer Alejandro Suarez. Generating videos that became viral and were very successful in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile; generating millions of daily reproductions. This led them to gain a lot of popularity in social networks. Sebastian Silva signs his first big contract with Caracol Televisión, one of the most important Spanish language television networks, to play Pite, in the series of 72 episode called 'The Queen of the Flow', recorded between Medellín and Bogotá, released at Caracol tv in June 2018, having set a rating record #1. In 2018, he is verified in all social networks as an artist and works in the promotion of several projects with his artistic facet; like IZZE, the new drink brought by Pepsi to Colombia, with whom he makes a concert and fiction content and joins together with Lenovo to make one of the most ambitious web advertising projects in Colombia; ending with a concert with more than 11,000 people in Bogotá. Nominated as "Digital Revelation Artist" at the India Catalina Awards 2018. He made part of the cast of 'Terricolas Tour', a show by one of the most important youtubers in Latin America Ami Rodriguez, along with Sofia Castro, Javier Ramirez, Mafe Mendez and La Pereztroika. In May 2018, he was part of the first debate between presidential candidates and digital influencers, along with the important critic Daniel Samper Ospina, director of the Productora Semana. This debate was called #YoutubersVsCandidatos and had the highest rating of webcasts in Colombia. Sebastian Silva's Youtube channel has more than 700,000 subscribers and more than 24,000,000 million views. His social networks total more than 1,460,000 followers, making him one of the most important young figures in Colombia. Now Sebastian is one of the actors chosen to work in 'Club 57', the new musical series of Nickelodeon, next to record in the 2018.
