Les McDowell

Les McDowell is an actor with many awards to his credit in the Industry. Les cut his teeth working in radio for many years. When Les was in high school, the great actor, John Carradine, told Les to get into radio to start out. That he did for many years, and in 2003 winning a Country Music Association (CMA) for being part of a morning show team that won Best Morning Show, Major Market. He acted and was host for Industrial Films in LA learning his craft. Also, has appeared in TV commercials. Les is known for being the prospector for the Florida Lottery Commercial. Les hosted The Florida Arthritis Telethon for many years in the 80's . Also, opened with his stand-up comedy for many country music greats, including Johnny Cash and Reba McEntire. He was also a member of the LA Comedy Store. He played 'Lil Abner at the Ojai Playhouse in Ojai California and had his own television shows called, Back Stage with Les McDowell a d Les McDowell at Joyland in Florida. Les is the creator of Dry Creek and acted in his series . Dry Creek was nominated for Best Show, Family Friendly at the Cable Fax Awards in NYC in 2012. Les loves to play characters and enjoys bringing them to life.

Dry Creek Western Set in Parrish, Florida, is owned by Les and his wife,Connie, and have had many productions shot there each year.

Les has followed his dream and now is getting to act more and more in projects.
