Hailee Steinfeld will be haunted by a vengeful ghost in the adaptation of young adult novel Break My Heart 1000 Times.

Daniel Waters's novel brings to life a time when a breach between the spiritual world and our realm causes spirits known as Remnants to live alongside the living.

Steinfeld has the lead role in Break My Heart 1000 Times as a young girl who has no choice but to go on the run when threatened by one angry Remnant.

This adaptation of the hit young adult novel will be written by Ice Age: Continental Drift's Jason Fuchs, reports TheWrap.

Break My Heart 1000 Times' directing chair is being given to Step Up Revolution's Scott Speer for the first film in what could turn into a franchise.

Steinfeld is next starring on the big screen in the spy comedy Barely Lethal and the highly-anticipated Pitch Perfect 2.

Den of Thieves

Sam Worthington is set to join Gerard Butler in Christian Gudegast's heist thriller "Den of Thieves" for Relativity Studios. Filming begins in January in Los Angeles and Puerto Rico.

Gudegast directs from his own script which follows a notorious crew of bank robbers who target the Federal Reserve in Los Angeles, right under the nose of a rogue sheriff’s deputy. Mark Canton, Alan Siegel, Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley will produce. [Source: The Wrap]

Aubrey Plaza ("Parks and Recreation," "The To-Do List") is set to join the cast of Jake Szymanski's comedy "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" for 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment.
