Robert Pattinson, Josh O’Connor, Sabrina Carpenter, Daniel Craig, and Drew Starkey were among the many stars that attended the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Show on Friday (June 27) in Paris, France.

The show marked designer Jonathan Anderson‘s debut collection with the fashion house since taking over as Creative Director after Maria Grazia Chiuri left the role last month. Jonathan‘s new Dior role comes less than three months after it was announced that he was leaving Loewe after 11 years.

Pierpaolo Piccioli is going to be the new Creative Director of Balenciaga!

Kering and Balenciaga announced Monday (May 19) that the appointment of the 57-year-old Italian designer to the role will be effective July 10, 2025.

“An accomplished and respected designer, and master of Haute Couture, Pierpaolo Piccioli will bring his unique creative vision and extensive experience to Balenciaga, building on the strengths and success achieved by the brand over the past decade under Demna’s creative direction, and in continuity with the legacy of Cristóbal Balenciaga and of the historic Parisian House,” the brand said in a statement.

The two actors and musicians showed their support for their friend Alessandro Michele, who is the new creative director of the fashion brand, and this marks his first collection with Valentino.

Exclusive: In his final project before concluding his headline-snatching, decades-long tenure as creative director at Valentino, Pier Paolo Piccioli dipped back into film production to produce the costumes for Things And Other Things, the latest feature from Italian filmmaker Riccardo Vannuccini.

The indie UK-Italian co-production stars Greta Bellamacina. The costumes for Bellamacina’s character were designed by Pierre Paolo for Valentino, including a custom blue dress with a 6-metre train made for the film. You can check out a first look at the film and Pierre Paolo’s costumes below.

Paolo Piccioli left Valentino in March after more than 20 years at the house. The designer joined Valentino in 1999 with Maria Grazia Chiuri, his former collaborator. The pair were appointed co-creative directors in 2008. In 2016, Piccioli took on the role of sole creative director, following Chiuri’s departure for Dior. Things And Other Things isn’t Paolo Piccioli’s first foray into cinema.

The creative director of Maison Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli, has always considered color a powerful channel of immediate and direct communication, systematically used as a means of altering perception and reevaluating form and function. First, he focused on red, inherited from Valentino, the founder of the brand, then the pink of the past seasons, and now it’s the turn for black.

It was one of the most congested and crowded fashion shows this Paris Fashion Week. On Sunday, Oct. 1, onlookers crammed in front of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, while crowds stretched all the way up to Quai Voltaire, over a thousand-foot distance from the venue, to get a peek of the celebrities that turned up to see what creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli would put forth for the next summer season.

Andrew Garfield, Penn Badgley, Kris Jenner, Paris and Nicky Hilton, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley all drew an uproar as they stepped out of their cars. Garfield, dressed in a blush pink long Valentino coat, opted not to speak about attending the show, stating, “I’m striking.”

Jenner, a close friend of Piccioli, was dressed in a black-and-white number with a black tie from the brand. “This collection was gorgeous. I loved every single piece. This is one of Pierpaolo’s best collections ever.

Beckham and Peltz exchanged "I dos" in front of their family and friends, including Beckham's parents, Victoria and David; Peltz's parents, Nelson and Claudia; and celebrities like Venus and Serena Williams, Mel C, Eva Longoria, and Gordon Ramsay.

Mubi has released a dazzling first trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s newest film, a mysterious short starring Julianne Moore as an impeccably dressed woman unraveling. At least, that’s the story as it appears in the trailer and first clip for “The Staggering Girl,” which will premiere on Mubi later this month. In addition to Moore, “The Staggering Girl” also features a powerhouse cast that includes Kyle MacLachlan, Mia Goth, KiKi Layne, Marthe Keller, and Alba Rohrwacher.

The official synopsis reads: “Francesca is the troubled, expatriate daughter of the acclaimed German-Roman painter Sophia Moretti, who has descended into blindness. After the quick succession of A Bigger Splash, Call Me by Your Name, and Suspiria, Luca Guadagnino is taking a bit of a breather before he sets his next feature-length project. In the meantime, the Italian director helmed a medium-length film The Staggering Girl, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival last year and is now arriving this month.

Starring Julianne Moore, Mia Goth, Kyle MacLachlan, KiKi Layne, Marthe Keller, and Alba Rohrwacher, the 35-minute film is scored by Ryuichi Sakamoto and produced in collaboration with Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Ahead of a premiere worldwide on Mubi on February 15, the trailer and first clip have now been unveiled.

The film–shot by cinematographer of the director’s last two films, Sayombhu Mukdeeprom–tells the story of Francesca, an Italian-American writer (Moore) who lives in New York and must return to Rome to retrieve her aging mother.

Luca Guadagnino is set to start shooting his first TV series, “We Are Who We Are,” for HBO and Sky, “in a couple of weeks,” the director of “Call Me by Your Name” told Variety. Guadagnino is currently in Cannes with his star-studded short “The Staggering Girl,” which world-premieres Friday in Directors’ Fortnight.

“We Are Who We Are” will focus on “a group of American teenagers on a U.S. military base in Italy,” Guadagnino said, particularly two 14 year olds, a boy and a girl named Fraser Wilson and Caitlin Harper. The two become close amid their posse of teenage friends, who think they’re a couple. But Fraser is experiencing confusing feelings about his identity and develops an innocent romantic connection with an older soldier.

“All the characters are from the U.S.,” Guadagnino said. Casting was done in Los Angeles, London, Africa and Italy.

The 35-minute film, portraying different chapters in a woman’s life through the prism of her relationship with her mother, is not a commercial for Valentino, the partners said. Instead, it’s an art movie in which haute couture becomes part of the narrative, Guadagnino said. “The ambition is to play in an important film festival,” said the director of “Call Me by Your Name” and “Suspiria,” with the hope that in some countries it will end up in movie theaters.
