    • Lauren Grimson is an award-winning Australian film and television actor.

      Lauren's recent credits include All Her Fault for NBC Universal/Carnival, starring Dakota Fanning, Sarah Snook and directed by Minkie Spiro (Downton Abbey, Better Call Saul), sci-fi spectacular R.U.R. from director Alex Proyas (The Crow, iRobot), and highly anticipated World War II epic, Beast of War (2025), from director Kiah Roache-Turner.

      Lauren also recently appeared in Lunar Pictures' thriller The Room Below, starring Alyssa Sutherland and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and lead gothic period romance Strangers at Sundown, directed by BAFTA winner Victoria Wharfe-McIntyre, opposite Socratis Otto.

      Additional film credits include lead roles in Alex Proyas' Dark Sister, Chris Sun's The Possessed released by Umbrella Entertainment, Rhythmic Films' Cry Baby, and Jennifer Van Gessel's found-footage thriller, Waterhorse, released by Bounty Entertainment.

      Earlier in her career, Lauren appeared in Kiah Roache-Turner's cult zombie hit Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, Shane Abbess' sci-fi epic The Osiris Child, Michael Joy's ABC pilot Munro, and Matthew Holmes' historical drama, The Legend of Ben Hall.

      Lauren's performance in The Legend of Ben Hall saw international acclaim, landing the Best Supporting Actor award at America's Wild Bunch Film Festival, while her performance in the titular role in sci-fi drama, Maya, saw a nomination for Best Actor at the Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival.

      Next, Lauren is preparing to reunite with writer/director Jennifer Van Gessel for upcoming horror feature, Find My Bones.

      Lauren holds a Degree in English literature, art history, and cinema studies. A lifelong horror enthusiast, she is also an official patron of Dark Nights Film Fest - a new festival dedicated to celebrating dark-genre cinema.
